Biography of H.G. Swami Durgananda
H.G. Swami Durgananda, known in Prabhuji Mission as Maa, an internationally renowned Master in the field of non-dualism, has been a pillar in the spiritual community since her initiation as a monastic disciple of Prabhuji in 1995. A scholar of Prabhuji’s teachings, “Retroprogressive Yoga”, which she has personally studied with him for decades. She plays a pivotal role in Prabhuji’s Sacred Sangha, where she excels as one of the four executive members and one of the four Master Acharyas of the Retroprogressive Path, attaining this status in 2021.
The combination of her commitment, integrity, and altruism has served as a motivational beacon for many in their spiritual quest. Swami Durgananda is also recognized for her profound knowledge and wisdom in imparting complex teachings in an accessible manner. Her mastery of Prabhuji’s teachings and texts is reflected in her lectures and publications.
